24/7 Emergency Roof Response Across the Treasure Valley
When your roof fails in the middle of a storm, at 2 AM, or right after a tree takes out your eave, Bork Roofing is on call. Our 24/7 emergency hotline — (208) 545-8226 — responds within an hour, and we dispatch same-day to every city in Ada and Canyon Counties.
When to Call for Emergency Service
Active roof leak. Water dripping through your ceiling means the deck is already soaking and every minute increases the damage to insulation, drywall, and framing. Call us immediately — and while you wait, follow our active roof leak homeowner checklist to contain the water.
Fallen tree or branch impact. Treasure Valley windstorms regularly take down cottonwood limbs and Russian olive branches. Even a small limb can puncture sheathing and compromise the waterproofing of your entire roof system.
Storm damage with exposed decking. If hail or wind has peeled shingles back to the underlayment or deck, you need a tarp before the next rain event. We carry heavy-duty 6-mil reinforced tarps and furring strips on every truck.
Chimney or skylight leak after a freeze. Boise’s freeze-thaw cycles can pop flashing sealant open overnight. If water is running down your chimney chase or skylight shaft, don’t wait.
Our Emergency Response Process
- Call received. A Bork Roofing dispatcher (not an answering service) takes your call, confirms the nature of the emergency, and arranges same-day dispatch.
- On-site assessment. Our technician assesses safety, shuts down water intrusion, and documents damage for insurance.
- Emergency stabilization. We tarp, patch, or board up as needed. Our tarps are mechanically fastened with furring strips — not just draped — so they hold through the next storm.
- Permanent repair scheduling. Within 24–48 hours we schedule the permanent repair. If the damage is storm-related, we begin insurance claim documentation at the same time.
- Restoration and close-out. Once work is complete, we provide photos, a workmanship warranty, and — if applicable — a close-out packet for your insurance file.
Safety First — Don’t Climb the Roof
We’ve seen too many homeowners get hurt trying to tarp their own roofs during a storm. Wet shingles are slippery, winds are unpredictable, and falls from even single-story roofs can be fatal. Call us. That’s what we’re here for.
